One of the bad things about being with a band named "Natural Disaster" is promoting it on days when the weather is as bad as it is today. The National Weather Service just issued a severe thunderstorm warning for part of Jasper County until 6:45 p.m. and other watches and warnings have been issued throughout the afternoon.
Nevertheless, "Natural Disaster," our 1950s/60s rock/country group will perform 8:15 to 9 p.m. tonight at the monthly Johnson family musical in the old Spring Valley school building about a mile east of the Undercliff restaurant at Tipton Ford.
Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and I will see a few of you there.
