Decision delayed on conclusion of O'Sullivan Industries bankruptcy proceedings

Though it is a moot point for displaced and soon-to-be displaced O'Sullivan Industries workers in Lamar, a decision on the company's request for a final decree in its bankruptcy case, originally scheduled for a hearing this week, has been postponed until July 26 at the company's request, according to a document filed today in U. S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

If the court issues the order, all remaining claims against the company would be closed.
