Blog questions lack of coverage on Graves revelations

The Heartland Diary of Betty B, in its latest post, questions the lack of coverage given by Missouri media to the revelation that Todd Graves was one of the U. S. attorneys targeted by the Bush Administration:

The News-Leader has, well, nothing to say about any of this, the KY3 political blog is talking about Fred Thompson, and I suppose Chatter would chime in only if one of the players were to die suddenly.

I'm sure if this had to do with any impropriety on the part of Democrats it would be front page news all over the state. Forget "fair and balanced", the plan seems to be to just keep Missourians in the dark on anything that requires criticism of the Republicans.

Though I would say Betty's characterization of Chatter is a bit harsh, she brings up a valid point, one I might add that also applies to newspapers in the Joplin area.

Perhaps they don't want to run a story built on hearsay and chatter from the same characters that brought us the joke of the Libby Trial.

Bingo, nobody cares because nobody can state what (if any) crime has been committed. Still, that shouldn’t stop you Democrats for obsessing and foaming at the mouth over it, it’s very amusing.

Randy,

You are so right about my shot at Ron's obituary obsession. I remember with nostalgia the days when he was a really fine investigative reporter.

Thanks to your blog and Fired Up Missouri, inquiring minds can construct a bit more of the "big picture". We need a dozen more like you.

Chatter is just an excuse for a washed-up out-of-it never-really-had-it reporter to jock-sniff KY3 and compete over who has the most available time to do nothing but scan the wire for obits.

Anon 12:07. Are you a disgruntled conservative or just a jealous journalist? Either way you aren't accomplishing much with your juvenile put-down.

Sorry Anon 6:10 p.m., but I think Anon. 12:07 said a mouthful and did, indeed, accomplish something - and he/she didn't take all day to say it or have to quote from some other blogger or newspaper to make a fine point.

Are you just a disgruntled liberal?
