Nixon’s win was based on an analysis of information from voters interviewed as they left polling places Tuesday. The interviews were conducted for The Associated Press by Edison Media Research and Mitofsky International.
I would still be more comfortable with waiting for the actual votes to be counted, but I suspect this projection is right on the money.
