“You know what was there,” Wistrom said. “And you know what's not there anymore.”
Authorities aren't letting in many volunteers yet. But Wistrom, whose annual charity golf tournament is scheduled for June 4 in Lincoln, plans to go to Joplin as soon as possible to help.
“I'll grab a shovel, a chainsaw, an axe, I don't care.”

Grant Wistrom ready to help Joplin in any way he can
Webb City native and Super Bowl champion during his time with the St. Louis Rams Grant Wistrom is leaving his Omaha home to help in the aftermath of the Joplin tornado:
