He even said he was impressed that Obama's trade negotiators improved the auto-related provisions of the proposed free-trade pact with South Korea.

Blunt impressed with Obama's dealings with auto industry
Former Missouri Governor Matt Blunt, now president of the American Automotive Policy Council, had positive things to say about President Barack Obama's handling of auto industry issues, according to a column in the Detroit Free Press:
