Joplin Expats, celebrities welcome back Joplin teachers
Joplin Expats, a group of former Joplin residents from around the world has been active in raising money and hope for this community following the May 22 tornado.
When Joplin teachers returned for the first official day Monday, we watched this video, which includes greetings from the Expats, as well as celebrity Joplin supporters Barry Manilow, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Brad Arnold of Three Doors Down, the Broadway cast of "Hair," including Joplin native Paris Remillard, and NBA legend Charles Barkley.
