From the WGU blog:
Come out to the WGU Missouri mixer on April 17 from 5-7 p.m. at Llywelyn’s Pub in Webster Groves.
You can spend time with your fellow Night Owls—including WGU alumni, students, and mentors—in the St. Louis area, as well as Chancellor Angie Besendorfer.
Enjoy appetizers, beverages, and updates about WGU Missouri activities and services. You’re welcome to bring a friend!
You can take some WGU Missouri swag home with you, including pennants and car clings. Plus, you can win door prizes like a Sage the Night Owl plush or a WGU Missouri sweatshirt.
Another blog entry indicates she dished out the swag at two Kansas City bars last month.

Well, I'll just file this under "Who cares?".
Get off it Randy!!!! She is doing her job. Quit finding some ulterior motive in everything people do. Or are you upset she didn't call you and ask for your opinion first???
I didn't know what SWAG meant when it comes to university marketing until I started working at another university. I found out that it meant the "Stuff We All Get" (SWAG). It was referring to the T-shirts, stickers, pens, cups, etc. that universities give away to visitors to campus or at various events. I thought it was a bad thing until someone told me.
