Springfield student whose gun went off at school bound over for trial
A Greene County judge bound 18-year-old Larvern Hale, Springfield, over for trial on drugs and weapons charges Friday. His arraignment is scheduled for October 17.
Hale allegedly brought a gun and marijuana into the school, gave them to another student, and the gun accidentally fired.
Hale is charged with two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, distributing marijuana, and resisting arrest.
