Barton County COVID-19 total at 44; potential exposure noted at Liberal Post Office

Barton County confirmed seven new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 44.

Of those cases, 26 remain active. None of the cases are hospitalized and the county has yet to record a coronavirus-related death.

In a news release this afternoon, the Barton County Health Department noted a potential COVID-19 exposure:

A presymptomatic positive COVID-19 case was in the Liberal Post Office on July 6, 2020. If you were in the Post Office on that date, your risk of contracting COVID-19 is low.
