Thirteen new COVID-19 cases were reported in Newton County today putting the county's total at 540.
The majority of the new cases, appear to be coming from Neosho, according to a Newton County Health Department news release.
The county has 395 people under isolation and four hospitalized, according to the release. One hundred thirty-eight people remain under quarantine.
The statistics do not include the portion of Joplin that is in Newton County.
