The number of Joplin residents hospitalized with COVID-19 fell from 31 to 29, according to statistics posted on the city's COVID-19 dashboard, but the number of patients overall in city hospitals increased to 90.
Joplin's coronavirus total to date is 4,771, with 22 cases confirmed Monday by the Joplin Health Department. Of those cases, 282 remain active.
The city has recorded 93 deaths due to COVID-19.
