The Joplin Health Department confirmed 13 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the total to 8,349.
According to statistics posted on the city website, the number of COVID patients in city hospitals has decreased to 49, including 10 Joplin residents.
Joplin has recorded 165 deaths due to COVID-19.
