Missouri Republican gubernatorial candidate Dave Spence made his first appearance on Jay Leno tonight, but it wasn't the kind of appearance that will boost the businessman's candidacy against Gov. Jay Nixon.
Leno opened the weekly "Headlines" segment by reading the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's story about Spence's college degree, including the part where it noted that Spence had boasted a degree in economics, while his degree was actually in home economics.
It's getting closer to time for Tom Schweich to announce his candidacy for the GOP nomination.
