Mental evaluation ordered for Lindstedt

Terming Martin Lindstedt's behavior "bizarre," Judge Kevin Selby Thursday ordered the perennial candidate to undergo a mental evaluation.
Lindstedt is awaiting trial on a statutory sodomy charge. He is also serving 660 days for contempt of court after he created disturbances in Judge Selby's courtroom during a recent hearing.
Lindstedt has steadfastly refused to hire a lawyer and has rejected public defender services. He demanded the right to represent himself and was told by the judge of the "perils of self-representation," according to court records.
"Defendant refused to listen to court's instruction and was disruptive during the proceeding, including, but not limited to, the use of profanity and inappropriate comments to public defender Mr. Egan and to the court, as well."
Selby found Lindstedt was not entitled to represent himself "due to his combative/disruptive behavior." Selby ordered the Newton County Sheriff's Department to take Lindstedt for the mental evaluation.

I guess we really shouldn't be surprised this development...I ust hope it doesn't turn into a method of defense against the charges leveled against him

Trust me he did not want to be sent for the evaluation but that does not prevent him from using later if he thinks it will help him beat the "whiggers" of the world. He also informed the court that we were losing the war and the supremist were winning, we just did not know it yet.
