Blunt: Patients should have health care choices

Speaking on the House floor a few seconds ago, Seventh District Congressman Roy Blunt, a candidate for U. S. Senate, said, "Health decisions should be made by patients and doctors, not bureaucrats.

"People need to have more choices, not less choices." Blunt said government involvement will strip away any choices that patients have.

So Blunt is against government involvement (i.e., big government), huh?

Ask him why he voted YES for the bailout, and why he voted several times to greatly expand government "involvement".

Oh dear. Because insurance companies allow you to pick whatever doctor or hospital you want, right?

Is Blunt aware that 94% of those with private health insurance in Joplin, MO are insured by a single company?
