Billy Long takes fundraising lead

I have been saying it all along and the money appear to be backing it up- Springfield auctioneer Billy Long is the leader in the Seventh District Congressional race.

When his October report is released, it will show Long has $400,000 in his campaign account, which he says will give him a $200,000 fundraising lead over his chief opponents, Sen. Jack Goodman, R-Mount Vernon, and Sen. Gary Nodler, R-Joplin, who have not announced their totals yet.

I believe Cantanese would disagree.

Is Billy Long REALLY who we want representing us in Congress? Totally uniformed buffoon in a cowboy hat and a bolo tie? Maybe he could auction off contracts for government projects.
