The Springfield news media offered the following coverage of former Kanakuk Kamp director Pete Newman's hearing on felony sex charges Thursday:

My question is, what type of sentence is he likely to recieve if convicted of all the charges he has against him? And is he out of jail today?
I will say probably seven years on each charge to be served concurrently (at the same.)
Newman was released on bond last night about 6:15 p.m.
