Swift Boaters account for most of money to Seventh District Congressional Committee

Out-of-state interests continue to play a key role in Missouri political committees.

The October report filed by the Seventh District Congressional Committee shows $125,000 out of the $128,425,000 received by the committee came from outside of Missouri's borders.

The lion's share, $100,000 came from Texas home builder Robert Perry and his wife, Doylene, who contributed $100,000. AT&T donated $25,000.

Where that money is going remains to be seen since only $29,705 in expenditures were reported, with most of that going to administrative costs and reimbursement for expenses.
