Will Jan Blase ask mold spores to testify on his behalf?

The Neosho Daily News reports that the trial of former Neosho City Manager Jan Blase will begin Dec. 9. Blase is charged with official misconduct, a misdemeanor, for his management of city funds that has put the city in a deep financial crisis.

At the time the public first learned of the mess, Blase blamed mold spores that were in City Hall. Whether the mold spores will be on Blase's witness list is not known.

Jan Blase makes a very good first impression. It's what happens afterwards that is the problem.

Just ask the city leaders in the communities he has been in that are on his past, path of destruction.

I do hope the jury pool will be composed of people with the knowledge, common sense and appropriate skills to find against him and that the judge will rule that Blase should pay the legal costs for his attempted run on the legal system.

OMG is he still in Missouri? He's mismanaged funds all over the state, Branson, Hollister, Nixa, etc. He negotiates these contracts with city councils (or who ever is in charge of hiring his butt) where he gets years of severance pay (in Nixa I think he was paid over $175,000 per year for 5 years severance) EVEN if he's fired!!!! For almost any reason!!!

He's a con man who likes to live high on the hog and destroy everything he touches.

When will cities STOP hiring this guy? I would think his reputation would out there, he's left every job he ever had in turmoil.
