Nine more COVID-19 cases confirmed in Newton County, number hospitalized, under isolation down

Nine more COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Newton County today bringing the total to 714, according to statistics posted this evening on the Newton County Health Department Facebook page.

The number hospitalized dropped from four to three while the number under isolation decreased from 389 to 377.

The county has had four coronavirus-related deaths.

The statitistics do not include the portion of Newton County that is located inside the Joplin city limits.
