(From the Carthage R-9 School District)The Carthage R-9 Board of Education met in special session on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, 6:00 pm, at Carthage Intermediate Center. Present were Board members Niki Cloud, Bill Lasley, Karen Wilkinson, Jeff Jones, Patrick Scott, and Ryan Collier. Niki Cloud led the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Board listened to Mercy Carthage Hospital Board discuss their concerns of COVID from the hospital and medical point of view.
Following Mercy Board’s presentation, Carthage School board members asked questions and made comments regarding the presentation.
