COUNCIL BILL NO. 2022-140
AN ORDINANCE approving a purchase agreement between the City of Joplin and Midwest Transit Equipment Inc.in the amount of Three Hundred Seventy-Eight Thousand, Fourteen and 00/100 Dollars ($378,014.00) for the purchase of three light duty cut-a-way vehicles with Americans with Disabilities (ADA) compliant lifts, on behalf of the City of Joplin and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin; and containing an emergency clause.
COUNCIL BILL NO. 2022-143
AN ORDINANCE approving an amendment (Change Order No. 2) to the construction agreement with Rosetta Construction, in the amount of One Hundred Sixteen Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety-Six and 09/100 Dollars ($116,796.09) for the East 7th Street Sewer Extension Project; and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin; and containing an emergency clause.

In today's Joplin Globe - it was mentioned that the current annual budget funding for Joplin Police & Fire (from all sources) is 51 million dollars. That is an incredible amount of money. If the sales tax had passed - add another 9 million to the 51 million.
The 51 million $ for the budget for Police and Fire should have a line item explanation in the budget documents. In addition it would have the source of the funds and the expenditures.
I would definitely like to study that if anyone could source it.
