A 2 p.m. November 28 sentencing hearing is scheduled in U. S. District Court in Springfield for a Carterville man on a charge of possession of methamphetamine possess with intent to distribute.
Cody Wayne Goucher, 44, was arrested October 7, 2022 by the Carl Junction Police Department. According to the criminal complaint, officers found a green backpack containing a large amount of methamphetamine.
Goucher pleaded guilty May 18.
