Joplin woman, Branson man charged with stealing $1,735 worth of items from Lowe's

The Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney's Office filed felony stealing charges Tuesday against a Joplin woman and Branson man who allegedly stolen $1,735 worth of items from Lowe's June 13.

According to the probable cause statements, Alice Fuller (DOB 1986) met with Jorge Josue Argueta-Campos (DOB 1984) at Lowe's, 2600 S. Range Line Road.

Argueta-Campos filled a cart with $1,735 worth of items and went through the checkout line where his credit card was declined, the probable cause statement said.

{Argueta-Campos} staged a cart containing $1735 worth of items by an exit. Fuller and {Argueta-Campos} left the store and moved their vehicle closer to the exit. {They} re-entered the store and Fuller pushed the cart of items out of the door without paying for them. They then placed the items in their van and left the parking lot.

The case was investigated by the Joplin Police Department.
