The lawsuit, which was filed March 3, claimed a principal and a teacher ignored the sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl.
The defense, in a motion filed May 12, cited state statute that says such an action has to be brought within two years of the alleged event. The sexual attack took place October 5, 2022, according to the lawsuit.
