What an era we are in as far as money in politics is concerned.
Congressman Kenny Hulshof's campaign added $30,000, according to a 48-hour report filed Wednesday with the Missouri Ethics Commission, and all that amount brings is a collective yawn in this wild-west era of fundraising.
Hulshof received $10,000 contributions from Jon Massey, a Folsom, La., attorney, Home Building Industry PAC, St. Louis; and Benton County Republican Committee, Lincoln.
Hulshof's opponent, Jay Nixon, did not report any oversized contributions Wednesday.
So far, Nixon has raised $3,478,025 in large contributions, while Hulshof has picked up $3,082,024.17.
