Forty-eight hour reports filed during the past three days with the Missouri Ethics Commission, Democratic governor candidate Jay Nixon continues to blow away his Republican opponent, Kenny Hulshof, in fund raising.
During that time, Nixon has received $186,000 to $30,595 for Hulshof.
Among Nixon's contributors:
Midwest Region Laborers Political Education Fund, $50,000; Missouri AFL-CIO COPE $30,000; Missouri State Council of Machinists, Bridgeton, $25,000.
Hulshof's contributors were led by the Republican Governors Association which provided a $20,595 in-kind contribution. He also received $10,000 from Menlo Smith of Sunmark Capital, St. Louis.
