When we had to set our clocks back an hour the other day, I imagine that Todd Akin went ahead and set his clock back to the year 1700, give or take a couple of decades.
Todd Akin remembered that back when the founding fathers were standing on the beach with the wind blowing, the common man had no way to tell time because God hadn't provided inexpensive clocks to the common man.The founding fathers were well aware that only monarchs had clocks. In misplaced reverence for the founding fathers, and to protest the federal government mandated standard time, Todd Akin smashed all the clocks and watches in his house.
