I think the good citizens of Missouri have far more pressing matters to concern themselves with these days, what with 18,500 people just being laid off by the Hostess company, which had been headquartered in KC up until just a few years ago.
Thanks mostly to continued poor management of Hostess. Employees are always to blame for management incompetence.
I don't feel that a civil right being denied to a group of citizens is a small matter. Are there other important issues for MO to address? Of course. But equality should never be dismissed as a minor side show (or worse, a distraction).
