A 9 a.m. Friday, January 24, arraignment has been scheduled for Jeffrey Bruner, Joplin, who is charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action in connection with the Nov. 1 shooting death of Missouri Southern State University offensive line coach Derek Moore in the parking lot outside of the Northstar Regal 14 Theater.
Police say the murder took place when Bruner confronted his estranged wife, Dawn Michele Bruner, and Moore.
The arraignment will be held before Judge David Mouton at the courts building in Joplin. Bruner was bound over for trial following a hearing Jan. 9.
