The turnstiles are still open in the Diamond R-4 School District where High School Principal Jim Cummins is leaving after one year to take the superintendent position at Wheaton.
Longtime teachers Dustin and Karen Miller recently resigned to take teaching positions in the Neosho R-5 School District. Miller has been teaching art at Diamond, while Mrs. Miller was a high school language arts teacher.
Some other departures are reportedly in the offing.
