Who runs the Joplin office? Is the Joplin office state-run, or is it a fee office? If it is a fee office, does the person running it have any financial connections (i.e.-contributions) with Matt Blunt?
The fee office in Joplin is owned by, I was told, Nick Myers. He is the Newton County Republican chair person, at least I think that is his title. So I would say, yes he has ties to Matt Blunt. The thing that got me was the people in the office use to have state benefits and now they have none, he offers no group insurance at all. I feel really bad for those people, to have all their benefits just taken away like that.
