Prosecutor opposes Ruestman bill

Count Cape Girardeau County Prosecutor Morley Swingle among those who opposes Marilyn Ruestman's frontier justice bill which passed the House Thursday. The bill, Swingle claims in an article in today's Kansas City Star, is unnecessary and is going to cause considerable problems for prosecutors.
I will once again ask the question I have posed since Ms. Ruestman's interview a while back in the Neosho Daily News. Who are these people who were clamoring for the right to kill people who enter their homes (which they already have if they believe their lives are in danger). I find it hard to believe this was considered to be a major issue by anyone, but it is an election year and Ms. Ruestman does have opposition.
