Security footage from Joplin High School during May 22 tornado released
This video footage, taken during the May 22 Joplin tornado, was released today through the school district's YouTube site.

Unbelievable footage! Thanks for sharing it!
Makes me realize how vulnerable we are in our schools if something like this should happen while we have kids in session. Thank you for sharing the footage!
Will you be sharing those names in a future posting? Also, what was the background music?
WOW-this footage showed the intensity most cant imagine. Well done.any footage still shocks me.
Why did you take the video down?
I didn't take it down. Apparently, there was a problem and the school took it down, but I have replaced it with a different version that was posted on another YouTube channel today.
I preferred the footage as it was last night, without the music playing in the background. Still, absolutely unbelievable...
