American Idol winner David Cook left the following message on his website after surprising Joplin High School students by performing at their Football Homecoming Dance at Memorial Hall Saturday night:
Had a blast in Joplin earlier tonight! Thanks for having us, Joplin.
Cook's performance was arranged by Wal-Mart, which also contributed $100,000 to the school district's Bright Futures program.
