Cunningham Park expanding after city of Joplin buys six lots

Cunningham Park will be bigger and better thanks to moves undertaken recently by the city of Joplin:

Joplin Parks and Rec Director Chris Cotten says the new property will be a big help in restoring the park. He says, "We'd like to recreate the historic shelter on part of the property. Then we have some plans for some of the memorial attributes of the park to go on some of the others."
