Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (MO-4) has issued the following statement regarding the failure of the U.S. House to approve the 2013 Farm Bill:
“I am disappointed that the 2013 Farm Bill, which would have created certainty for both consumers and our farmers, failed to pass the U.S. House of Representatives. I join my colleagues on the House Agriculture Committee in my commitment to going back to the drawing board and working to craft a Farm Bill that will cut waste, eliminate duplication, and expose fraud while ensuring the American people an abundant, safe, and affordable food supply.”
