To celebrate the opening of the Main Street and Zora Street interchange, the City of Joplin and Missouri Department of Transportation are hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce on Friday, June 14. The event will be held at 2 p.m. on the southwest side of the bridge.
The ceremony recognizes the partnerships of the federal, state, and local jurisdictions who worked together in completion of this multi-million dollar project.
Note: The Interchange will open on Thursday, June 13. At that time, Veteran's Way (road located north of interchange) will close permanently.
