RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL OVERSPREAD THE OUTLOOK AREA SUNDAY BRINGING THE POTENTIAL OF HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLOODING. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MONDAY MORNING. NO SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED SUNDAY. ADDITIONAL ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS AND THE RISK FOR FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED INTO THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. AFTERNOON HEAT INDEX VALUES MAY REACH THE MID TO UPPER 90S ON A DAILY BASIS NEXT WEEK ACROSS EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI.
