Jasper County passes 1,000 mark in COVID-19 cases, 47 new cases confirmed since Friday

Jasper County reached a negative milestone today when the COVID-19 total soared past 1,000 to 1,020, following the addition of 47 cases since Friday.

Statistics posted this evening on the Jasper County Health Department Facebook page indicate the number of hospitalizations increased from 13 to 15.

The number of people under isolation dropped from 155 to 144.

The Jasper County total does not include the portion of the City of Joplin that is located in Jasper County
