Billy Long, Hartzler, Missouri GOP reps vote against January 6 Commission

The U. S. House of Representatives approved a bill creating a commission to investigate the January 6 insurrection, but it did so without the votes of any of Missouri's Republican Congress members.

Seventh District Congressman Billy Long was joined by Sam Graves, Vicky Hartzler, Jason Smith, Blaine Luetkemeyer and Ann Wagner in supporting the wishes of Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and former President Donald Trump, who made it clear they did not want a commission.

The final vote was 252 to 175 with 35 Republicans joining 217 Democrats in the majority.

January 6th was a disgusting display of hatred toward my country. All the details need to be exposed to prevent it ever happening again.

I agree, we should audit the entire election to make sure it never happens again.
