No arrest warrant issued after former Sarcoxie teacher skips hearing

Former Sarcoxie High School English teacher Baylee Turner was a no-show this morning at the latest hearing on a felony charge of sexual contact with a student.

Jasper County Circuit Court records indicate Judge David Mouton did not follow through on his threat to issue an arrest warrant for Turner if she did not show up.

Mouton rescheduled the hearing for 9 a.m. July 12.

Court records show Turner has not attended court hearings since November 25, 2019, failing to show seven times since.

Online records show Mouton said if Turner did not show up today, a warrant would be issued.

Turner was in her third year with the R-2 School District when she allegedly had sex with a student at her home sometime between January 14 and January 21, 2019, according to the probable cause statement.

Turner resigned February 12, 2019 and the R-2 Board of Education accepted her resignation the following day.

This seems to be a Pattern for Judge David Mouton - - Here is another Case that was Posted - Again, Thanks to the "The Turner Report" - -

When Chris Alred failed to show for his sentencing hearing Monday in Jasper County Circuit Court, Judge David Mouton did not issue a warrant for his arrest.

Judge Mouton - - Needs to "STOP PLAYING GAMES", with these Individuals and Start doing what he was Elected to do - - He and the Glade's Law Firm - Maybe Buddies, but Start doing the "Right Thing"...
