The Carthage R-9 Board of Education will meet in special session 6 p.m. Monday in the Carthage South Technical Center community room to discuss the search for a new superintendent.
Dr. Mark Baker, superintendent, announced his retirement at Monday's board meeting. The retirement will be effective June 30.
