The indictment of a Joplin man on child pornography charges was unsealed today in U. S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
According to the indictment, Shawn Ryan Valentine, 35, received and distributed child pornography between April 28, 2022 and April 27, 2023 in Jasper County.
His initial appearance was held this morning in Springfield.
Valentine's arraignment and detention hearing are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 15.
