McDonald County Chamber schedules resource fair for Tyson workers

(From the McDonald County Chamber of Commerce)

Our hearts go out to the 1513 employees that received their notices of job loss this past Monday. Nothing we can say eases the stresses they are going through. Now is the time for the entire community (County) to come together and help as we can.

With that in mind, many thanks to all those who have assisted in the process for making this "Resource & Career Fair" come together so quickly. It couldn't be done without a team of State and Local representatives, Mayors, Businesses, along with hundreds of willing residents willing to help.

We will have countless State agencies, schools, education, training, businesses from near and far, and so much more, all willing to lend a hand and provide information on resources available for those having lost or losing their jobs.

How can you help? Very simple, if you or someone you know has been impacted by a recent job loss, spread this message far and wide. Share this on your social media feeds, share with friends, families and neighbors. You can make a difference, this is one place and way to start.
