Go Fund Me page created to raise money for family of Granby boy, 10, killed in SUV-bicycle collision

A Go Fund Me page has been created to cover expenses for the family of Cooper DeShields, 10, who was killed in an SUV-bicycle collision Thursday.

The page was created by Cooper's aunt, Laira Brooks, and at this writing, has already raised $7,350 of its $9,000 goal with 138 donations.

Brooks posted the following message on the page:

On October 10th,2024 my nephew was in a tragic accident while riding his bike coming home from his after school program. We are asking that everyone pulls together and helps us in this time of loss and as we navigate through this very very hard time.

Everything and anything, even a share will help us. Thank you all.
