Former Joplin police officer waives arraignment, pleads not guilty

Former Joplin police officer Kenneth Andersen waived his arraignment today and entered a not guilty plea in Jasper County Circuit Court to four misdemeanor counts of misuse of official information by a public servant.

Andersen was allegedly using the city's Flock cameras to run checks on the license plates of two of his girlfriends and the current boyfriend of one of the two women.

Andersen's arraignment had been scheduled for September 30.

When any Police Officer, or City, or County, or State Government Official holds an Office of Authority and they Violate the Citizens Trust and Break the Laws - They should be held accountable and punished to the fullest extent of the Law!

What was the reason this Joplin clown gave for his FLOCK searches?

IDK?
LMAO?

IDGAF?

"An EFF analysis of ALPR search logs from Flock Safety systems shows that officers across the country are spying on drivers for completely nonsensical “reasons.” Police are routinely searching the Flock database without providing any legitimate justification, making a mockery of our civil liberties by logging reasons like “LOL” (short for “laugh out loud”), “LMAO” (short for “laughing my ass off”), “sexy,” and “idk” (short for “I don’t know”) to access sensitive ALPR location data".

And in some cases, officers are just mashing keyboard buttons rather than articulating the nature of their searches."

Again, any Police, City, County, or State Officials, who holds an Office of Authority and they Violate the Citizens Trust and Break the Laws - Should be held 100% accountable and punished to the fullest extent of the Law! No Excuses, No Slaps on the Wrist, No Probation - File Logs in Flock Usage should be examined for consistent examination to see if any fowl play or over usage or zealous or illegal usage is being done! In business you audit and verify spending and costs - to make sure that there are no problems or illegal or excessive issues - No Different in Government, because Fraud and Illegal Issues are Rampant in City, County, State, and Federal Programs.

Again, Flock Cameras only Report and Record what is happening in Public!
Anyone can Record anything in Public - which you are being Recorded the Second you Step Outside Your House. When you add - "Bad Human Nature", without exclusive oversight is where things can go wrong! This Police Officer, Kenneth Andersen, knew he was doing wrong and should be held to the highest extend of the Law - for violating the Trust of the Public - SEND HIM TO PRISON - NO OPTIONS!!!

If the abuse of flock cameras caused the death of a loved one, I believe you would have a different option

4:17PM, Again I will bite about your overzealous speculation! What Flock Camera caused the Death of Anyone - I know you are not Bright - But Flock Cameras are Inanimate Objects - just like every Camera in everyone's hand, on most houses, businesses, etc., etc., if anything they would help lead to a Person's Capture and Conviction - they are Supporting the Laws in America - Just Don't Break the Laws and you have "NO WORRIES"...........
