Perennial candidate and perennial lawsuit filer Martin Lindstedt filed his third petition for a new judge Monday in Newton County Circuit Court.
Lindstedt, whose case is being heard by Judge Kevin Selby, is asking Presiding Judge Timothy Perigo to appoint another judge because Selby and Lindstedt have had previous courtroom encounters. Lindstedt is charged with felony statutory sodomy.
