Springfield medical business declares bankruptcy

Health Care Manufacturing, Inc., a Springfield business that provided x-ray machines and other medical equipment for chiropractors and veterinarians, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy today in U. S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri.
The company is facing three breach of contract lawsuits in Greene County Circuit Court for its failure to pay its bills, according to the petition. Health Care Manufacturing listed total assets of $2,856,797.99 with its debts amounting to $2,612,437.52.
In a liquidation plan filed with the court, Health Care Manufacturing's president and only stockholder, Rodney Moulder, explained how his company went south, spending too much on direct digital x-ray system. The research and development on the project was "a tremendous financial burden," he wrote, noting that it cost the company approximately $30,000 a month for three years "and it is still not fully operational."
Under Moulder's liquidation plan, the company would sell its equipment to Summit Industries, Inc., an Illinois firm and would make approximately $450,000 from the deal, he said. The plan has to be approved by the court.
The bankruptcy petition featured a couple of fascinating notes. After Moulder and his wife, Katrina, made the decision May 8 to cease manufacturing the next day, apparently they had some problems with disgruntled employees.
Moulder wrote that disgruntled employees, after learning they no longer had jobs, "illegally removed" all testing data from company computers. Moulder also reported that an uninsured vehicle had been stolen in Dallas in 2004.
Health Care Manufacturing had been in business since April 14, 1989.

That A-Hole (Rodney Moulder) knew full well what he was planning to do for months before he did it. I am one of the unfortunate individuals who he took for $24,000. It is public knowledge that he has PLENTY of money (estate in Naples, Florida, airplane, offshore accounts...) and in my opinion he knowingly filtered money away from HCMI into other corporations and accounts. HCMI was EXTREMELY profitable. He simply saw it as the easiest way to make a killing and get out. Someday, somewhere, he will get what he deserves.

The chest x-ray is a very useful examination, but it has limitations. Some conditions of the chest will not show up on the image. Therefore, a normal chest x-ray does not necessarily rule out all problems in the chest. For example, patients with asthma exacerbations can have a normal chest x-ray. There are some cancers that are too small or are difficult to visualize and may not be identified. Blood clots to the lungs (pulmonary embolism) cannot be seen on chest x-rays and require additional study.

Rodney Moulder kept two sets of books. He had lots of help with books from Keith the company accounting firm not to be name here. Rodney should never be allowed to run, or own another business ever in the USA. SCAM is his speciality.
